Profi Spray: New Nasal Spray Developed by Scientists at Harvard Medical School Provides up to 8 Hours of Protection from Viruses by Capturing, Binding and/or Deactivating Droplets And Aerosols in the Nasal Passage BEFORE They Duplicate and Cause Disease
These past several years, I realized that by God’s grace, my immune system is pretty good. I haven’t gotten COVID teaching at school and even working one-on-one with students who have active COVID and were unmasked even though my colleagues have gotten it being in the same shared classrooms. I have tested weekly (more when exposed) so I’m confident in stating this. I do mask at school and in other indoor public spaces but I also add Nasal Guard Gel and once in a while some of the other sprays like Xlear or Betadine Cold and Flu to help protect and fight against various viruses and germs to protect myself and loved ones who are immunocompromised. I don’t have a lot of C19 antibodies because I had a severe adverse reaction to the one Pfizer vaccine that I did get in 2021 when teachers were mandated to get it. That dose left me with some lasting damage, though reduced now due to help from my doctors and in particular my integrative medicine MD. I also take supplements like quercetin, C, D, magnesium, probiotics, a good multi, and gargle with Listerine Cool Mint twice daily as research shows all these measures help support the immune system and fight illness. I fortunately have Not gotten COVID at home even when directly exposed when my family had it twice in the past four years.
I learned about Profi from a PAPR (powered air purifier respirator) group on FB when they invited the scientists who developed it to give a presentation about it and share their testing and evidence of its efficacy. After getting that information, I decided to now add this to my arsenal of mitigation tools for myself and family to use, especially in instances where we could be overexposed by sick people (I’ve been seeing people literally sick for months from one illness to the next) and when wearing a mask may not be possible. Daily use is safe for people 12 and up (and maybe younger due to nontoxic ingredients though one should check with your doctor on this). With any supplement or spray, it’s recommended to skip a few days every few months to reset then restart. Also, remember to blow your nose first, wipe, then spray/swab as with any nasal spray or gel.
